US de minimis:

  • The US de minimis exemption which allowed our US customers duty free purchases for $800 usd and under, from Canada into the US, ended Friday August, 29th at 12:01 EST. 
     

  • This means unless a product is USMCA compliant, all Canadian purchases upon entry to the US, are subject to 35% tariffs; and depending on the courier, other fees and landing costs might be applicable.
     

Are you USMCA compliant?

  • Yes, our products are USMCA compliant which means no 35% tariffs / no duties for our US customers.

SHIPPING UPDATE

Why is there no more free shipping on single 2 oz and single 4 oz bottle sizes?

  • We've alway tried to keep our prices down for you but with the de minimis revocation, national postal services are collecting duties up front from the merchants / sellers, even if the package qualifies for duty free.
     

  • Only the private carriers are equipped to handle the more complex customs entries that allow you USMCA duty free / tariff free shipments.
     

  • This means we have no choice but to use private carriers to ship your packages in order for you to receive duty / tariff free purchases.
     

  • Private carriers ship label prices start at a much higher price tier than our national postal service Canada Post.
     

  • Unfortunately and because of that we had to add shipping costs to single 2 oz and single 4 oz bottle sizes as it's unrealistic for us to absorb the shipping costs on those 2 bottle sizes.
     

  • Our free shipping threshold now starts at $43.90 which is equal to 2 x 2 oz bottles to qualify for free shipping.
